• 12 oz fresh cranberries, rinsed
  • ½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  1. Place all ingredients (except the maple syrup) in a lidded quart pot. Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in the maple syrup and cook for about 3 more minutes, or until the cranberry sauce thickens.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool, then discard the cinnamon stick. Chill until ready to serve.
