Ingredients
 
  • 6 Honeycrisp apples, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
 
  1. Place the apples in the crockpot and add water, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cover and cook on low for six hours, or on high for four hours.
  2. Once the apples are very soft, stir in the apple cider vinegar. Use a potato masher or large fork to mash the apples.
  3. Cool the applesauce at room temperature before transferring to a jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
