Flavored almond milk is a breeze to make at home. Simply blend soaked almonds with dates and your fruit of choice and strain. In this Strawberry Almond Milk recipe, we’ve replicated a classic childhood flavor for a dairy-free option to enjoy added to coffee or smoothies.
If you have kids, this is the perfect healthy beverage to serve as a snack or with meals. The flavor is smooth, complemented by a hint of sweetness from the strawberries and dates.

TIPS:
- This recipe makes 1 quart of milk and needs the almonds to soak for at least 8 hours before blending. Prep the milk in the evening for a refreshing morning beverage the next day.

Strawberry Almond Milk

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups raw almonds (AIP – omit)
8 cups filtered water, divided
1 cups strawberries, chopped
8 Medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsp vanilla extract
Directions
Pour almonds and 4 cups water into a 32 oz. lidded mason jar. Seal the jar and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
After soaking, strain liquid from almonds and add them to a food processor with another 4 cups water, strawberries, dates, and vanilla extract. Process until smooth.
Strain mixture through a cheesecloth into a clean mason jar. Seal the jar and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
