Strawberry applesauce in small dishes with a hand and whole strawberries.
This Strawberry Applesauce recipe is a great and easy snack for the whole family to enjoy!
Strawberry applesauce in small dishes with a hand and whole strawberries.

Make homemade Strawberry Applesauce in 30 minutes or less with only 5 ingredients. It’s a simple way to use up apples or strawberries that are going to go bad.

We used Fuji apples in this recipe for their natural sweetness, but there are many different apple varieties you can choose from that suit your taste. For a tart flavor, opt for Granny Smith apples. Or if you prefer a honey-like sweetness, Gala apples are a great choice.

This recipe is perfect for batch cooking on a Sunday afternoon, making your week ahead much easier. Simply prepare, portion into small, airtight food storage containers, and you have convenient, ready-to-go snacks for your kids’ lunches throughout the week.

TIPS:

  • Replace the strawberries with your fruit of choice to make different flavors of applesauce.
  • Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) omissions and substitutions are listed in the recipe ingredients.
