What About Pink Pineapple?

Del Monte has genetically modified pineapples to maintain their pink coloring from their immature stage. The result is a sweeter—albeit more expensive—fruit. Feel free to try it if you’re curious, however, The Paleo Diet® encourages buying non-GMO produce when possible.

Party Planning Tip

Utilize the whole pineapple the next time you host a summer party! The whole fruit can be hollowed out to use as a serving bowl for sliced fruit or a fruit salad. Fresh leaves from the crown or sliced wedges with the rind still on make great garnishes for tropical mocktails (like the one below!).

Sober Curious Lifestyle

Mint and pineapple are a powerhouse pair with a bevy of antioxidants and other beneficial nutrients between them. They also taste great in this alcohol-free version of a classic mojito. Throw this drink together the next time you feel like enjoying a craft mocktail without the booze.
