Coat fresh asparagus in a sticky sweet orange sauce, then air fry until crisp-tender!

Use your air fryer to get crispy roasted asparagus ready in a snap!

This tangy Asian-inspired asparagus is coated in a sticky sweet orange honey sauce, then air fried until crisp and tender. Serve it as a side dish alongside your favorite main dish for a tasty way to get your veggies.

The orange honey glaze is made with just a few simple ingredients and is quick to throw together. Simply combine fresh orange juice and zest along with avocado oil, honey, ginger and red pepper for a balanced sweet-spicy sauce.

Start by tossing the rinsed and trimmed asparagus spears with a bit of arrowroot starch. This helps thicken the sauce and keeps your veggies nice and crispy. Once coated, pour in the orange sauce and toss until combined.

Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket, and cook for six to eight minutes depending on how thick they are and how well you like them done.

Serve alongside your favorite Paleo entrée, and sprinkle with a bit of freshly cracked black pepper if you like. Enjoy!
