Relax your mind and your digestive system with a Jasmine Green Tea Latte. Whether you’re enjoying it as a pre-bed beverage or an afternoon drink to help take away the day’s stress, this creamy, semi-sweet latte can be made in just 10 short minutes.
Before you dive in, be sure that you have high-quality green tea and jasmine on hand. The best way to go about this recipe is to get whole, pure jasmine flowers to steep. However, loose leaf blends can work just as well. Just be sure to read the ingredients on the label, as some companies use “natural flavors” which are proprietary blends derived from whole food sources and contain individual chemical compounds that contribute to the overall taste and aroma of a food or beverage. Because manufacturers are not required to list what goes into natural flavors, you can never be sure what you’re really ingesting.
This Jasmine Green Tea Latte has functional benefits: Jasmine has been proven to provide gut and mental health benefits,1 and a 2012 review exploring the health benefits of green tea found that it’s high in antioxidants and has promising anti-cancer properties.2 So this Jasmine Green Tea Latte recipe can provide more than just a sweet, creamy taste.
You can serve this drink hot or pour over ice to create a chilled milk tea beverage. However, before pouring over ice, be sure to use a frother to help mix everything together. We like Aerolatte’s handheld frother, which is also an essential included in our coffee cart guide.
TIP: Add a teaspoon of honey if you want to sweeten your drink a little more.

3 tsp. dried jasmine
3 tsp. green tea (or 3 teabags)
