Plant-based diets are often praised for their ability to improve health. Indeed, eating fresh fruits and veggies can help reduce inflammation, increase vitamin intake, and boost your immunity.
Believe it or not, we consider ourselves plant-based here at The Paleo Diet®! While we recommend you include animal protein in your diet too, by volume, Paleo followers eat more plant foods.
This month, we took a break from meat-based recipes and switched our focus to vegan and vegetarian-friendly meals. While we don’t believe purely plant-based diets are the best diets for human health, we recognize and respect individuals who eat this way for ethical reasons. We kept sustainability at the heart of our conversation and explored how foods like seaweed are good for the planet.

We hope you enjoy!

April at The Paleo Diet: Brain Health Month
The brain is arguably the most important part of the human anatomy. To keep our brains in tip-top shape, it’s important to be kind to our mind. Diet, exercise, and mental stimulation are just a few ways to keep yourself healthy.
This April, The Paleo Diet will explore the various functions and importance of the brain. We look forward to providing our readings with new brain-boosting recipes, challenging “brain games” and tips to take care of their mental health.
As always, our team appreciates your support of The Paleo Diet. We look forward to and encourage your feedback on our website and Facebook!
