No Big Dill Carrots | The Paleo Diet

These dill carrots are delicious veggies even the kids will love. It can sometimes be tricky to keep your kids on The Paleo Diet track, especially during our busy lives, but simple side dishes like this make for an easy way to get some veggies in them, and can be easily taken on the go in tupperware. Dill is often a forgotten but very tasty herb that pairs well with a variety of foods including sweet potato, cucumber, cabbage or broccoli. Not only does it taste great, dill is often used to treat digestion problems, fever, cough, nerve pain, menstrual cramps and sleep disorders.


Serves 2

  • 2 c. baby carrots
  • 1 T. dried dill
  • 1 T. lemon juice


1. Steam baby carrots and serve topped with a sprinkling of dill and lemon juice.
