Meet The Expert

What makes you an expert on The Paleo Diet?

I have four years of experience editing Paleo recipes, so I know all the sneaky ingredients that are and are not primal.

Describe the impact The Paleo Diet has had on your life?

Eating a strict Paleo diet is hard to do, and taking those month-long Paleo challenges reminds me that eating high-quality, organic foods is not accessible to everyone. I try to stay mindful of ways that we can be healthy without breaking the bank—or spending hours in the kitchen.

What does “healthy living” mean to you? And what is your favorite "cheat" food)?

Healthy living is all about balance. I believe in spending time outside every day, connecting with friends and family, moving your body, eating well, and sleeping soundly. You don’t have to stick to a strict diet or run marathons to thrive! My favorite comfort food is a slice of pizza.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not writing for The Paleo Diet?

I love reading, cooking, crossword puzzles, hot yoga, and long walks with my dog.
