I have been in the recipe developing, food styling and food photography business for over 5 years and it is truly a passion of mine. I earned my degree in dietetics in 2011 and decided to carve my own creative path with a career in food photography and recipe development. I have worked with clients creating delicious recipes to suit a range of diets from Keto to Paleo and even vegan.

What Makes you an Expert on The Paleo Diet?

I have created over 1000 Paleo recipes over the last 5 years working with Paleo clients. My work has included cookbooks, brand recipes using Paleo products, recipes for social media platforms and recipes for websites.

Describe the impact the Paleo Diet has had on your life?

Cooking so many Paleo dishes and learning about the benefits has made a big difference in the quality of food I consume, especially when it comes to the meat and dairy I purchase. I have also learned that foods I once thought were healthy actually cause havoc on my digestive system and leave me feeling bloated and sluggish.

What does healthy living mean to you?

Healthy living for me is when I am feeling my best and thriving. This is when I am eating plenty of healthy foods, moving my body and getting mental nourishment as well with the people (and animals) I love.

Go to cheat food?

I love a good Italian beef sandwich and Italian ice. Also, my cheat days tend to include carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

What do you do when you’re not writing for the Paleo Diet?

When I’m not working, I love to go boating in the summertime and try as many new restaurants as possible. Since I cook every day, it’s such a luxury going out and having a great meal with great company.
