Meet The Expert

What makes you an expert on The Paleo Diet?

I've been writing for The Paleo Diet, Paleohacks, and Paleo Magazine since 2014. I'm also the author of the best-seller The Essential Instant Pot Keto Cookbook from Hachette Book Group.

Describe the impact The Paleo Diet has had on you and your family's life?

While I was already healthy, discovering Paleo helped me lose the last little bit of body fat I had, build more muscle, sleep better, and improve my cholesterol and overall health.

What does “healthy living” mean to you? And what do you like to eat when you go to the movies (i.e. what is your favorite cheat food)?

Healthy living is not only healthy eating to me, but a mindset. You can always choose a healthy option, no matter what situation you're in. I don't do much in the way of cheat meals, but I will eat popcorn if I go to the movies (sacrilege, I know.)

What do you enjoy doing when you are not writing for The Paleo Diet?

I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music, learning new things, and exercising (especially CrossFit and mountain biking.)
