I have been following the Paleo diet now for almost 4 years in that same time I’ve also been having to deal with going through the menopause. I started off using a natural progesterone cream that my doctor prescribed. I used it for a year along with taking iodine in water each day. Then I decided to forsake such and decided to rely on just diet and exercise to help me.
I’ve found that I am better able to handle my situation now and also feel great. I do however include a couple of supplements in my diet these days. The ones I take are Red Clover (to help with the hot flashes and night sweats) and magnesium. I may at some point in the future include some more but at the moment I am happy with the way things are.
